Welcome to Underwater Technology (UT) Research Laboratory
UT research theme focusing on:
- Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (ROV, AUV, Glider, Crawler)
- Surface Vehicle (USV, Underwater Platform, River Cleaning Robot, Hovercraft, Crawler)
- Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (Drones - Duorotor, Quadrotor, Hexacopter)
Unmanned Systems (UnSYS) Research Lab
- Unmanned Systems Research lab consists of Unmanned Surface Vehicle and Unmanned Underwater Vehicle.
- For unmanned surface vehicle such as Quadrotor, Hovercraft, All-Terrain Vehicle, Crawler and etc.
- For unmanned underwater vehicle such as Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV), Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), Underwater Glider (UG), Underwater Crawler (UC), Surface Vessel and etc.
Underwater Technology Research Group (UTeRG)
- Research and development conducted related to underwater technology including the underwater platform which is Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) (i.e Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV), Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), Underwater Glider (UG), Underwater Crawler (UC), Surface Vessel)
- The sensors used for underwater application such as Vision sensor, Depth Sensor, Hydrophone Sensor and etc.
- The research covers experimentation for the field of underwater research. The laboratory also provides testing, training and consultancy services to the industry.
