PED Research Laboratory focusing research on:
- Power Converter and Drives
- The Power Electronics and Drives (PED) Research Laboratory comprehensively investigates and formulates high control performance of power converters and motor drives for industrial, renewable energy and electric vehicle applications.
- Specifically, members of the PED laboratory conduct research in the following areas:
- Optimal Switching Strategy for Multilevel Inverters
- Variable-speed Drives/Vector Control of AC Motors
- Power Electronic Converters and Inverters
- Energy/Battery Management System
- DSP, Microcontroller and FPGA
- Grid-Connected Systems
- The research laboratory has high-technology equipments and facilities, with strong expertise and good research environment, which can accelerate and enhance research productivities.
