Welcome to Electrical Mechine Design (EMD) Research Laboratory

  • ELECTRICAL MACHINE DESIGN (EMD) focuses on the modeling and experimental of various types of electrical machines.
  • Includes Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), Brushless DC Motor (BLDC), Permanent Magnet Generator (PMG), and Linear Oscillatory Actuator (LOA).
  • All design is modeled using commercial Finite Element Method software (FEM) and validated through experimental or measurement. Most of the design have been developed for a specific application.
